Hello Everyone

Good morning from the USA!! I am Audrey and am proud to be a member of the Kaboodle DT! I love doing challenges and working with all kinds of stamps - rubber, cling, clear and digis, and all products that go along with them. I have recently become a big fan of altering things.

My crafting journey has been going on for over 20 years. I started with scrapbooking, made jewelry, and now mostly do card making and altering of items with stamps and paper. I still do an occasional scrapbook page. I love adding things to my blog. I have blog candy to give away right now, so make sure you come and visit me.

Thanks again for letting me be a part of the DT and I'm looking forward to some great crafting adventures!!:)

Hello!

Hi!

How excited am I to be joining you all at Kaboodle Doodles?! I actually ran around my house and then did a little dance! My little boy was watching me in a slightly concerned fashion. This kind of activity normally only happens if I set the smoke alarm off!

So, I'm Faye and I live in Faye World, a fluffy, alternate reality! If I'm not there, I do visit Earth and you'll find me being a wife to Very Understanding Hubby and Mum to Daniel, who is thirteen months old, just starting to walk and is every bit as mischievous as his Mummy!

When Daniel is sleeping and I'm not, I can be found in my craft snug. I love making cards and have an addiction to stamps and stash. I also have a habit of sneaking illegal and contraband stash packages into the house. I can't help it, I just see so many things I need!

My problems started when I discovered there were no wedding invitations in the shops that I liked and I had the genius idea of making my own. That was in 2004 and other than a baby break, I've not stopped since. I have a suspicion that I could've funded another couple of weddings since then too!

I am so looking forward to playing with and getting to know you all. See you for next weeks challenge...

And this is me

Hi everyone
My name is Marianne and I'm pleased to say that the sun is shining here today. I have been married to my lovely husband, Graham, since I was 18, which is quite a while ago now, lol! We live in Norwich which is in East Anglia, England. I work 30 hours per week as an HR Manager for the local authority.

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to make things. I used to have a box of felt, toilet roll middles, old thread bobbins and anything else I could find. Goodness knows what treasures I used to make but I've come a long way since then. I moved on to embroidery and patchwork and once made a patchwork double duvet cover, all hand stitched. I embroidered cushion covers and then moved on to cross stitch.

In May 2006 I bought my first cardmaking items as I thought I would like to try this as a new hobby. Little did I realise where this would lead me. I sat at the table with some peel offs and handmade paper and had no idea where to start. Looking back at those cards I made I can see how very far I have come.

My friend Lynsey kept pestering me to start a blog which I didn't think was for me. However when I started looking at some of the work in blogland I realised how much fantastic work there is out there and how much fun it looked. Well I wasn't wrong. I started my blog in June 2009 and that's when I discovered that blogging is as addictive as cardmaking. I have learnt so much in that short time and I feel my work has really improved.

I have been lucky enough to have been a guest DT for a few challenges but this is my first DT spot. I am so grateful to the lovely girls here for giving me this opportunity. I'm feeling very excited but slightly daunted too. I hope my lovely followers will be joining me in the challenges here and I look forward to seeing your new creations and commenting on your work.

.... and this is me

Hello to everyone. My name is Jill and I live in the SW of England. Firstly, I must say how thrilled I am to become a member of Kaboodle Design Team and can’t wait to visit everyone’s blog and check out all you talented crafters!

I have been married to my husband, John, for nearly 38 years and we have three grown up children and four grandchildren. I gave up my job as a florist quite some years ago so I have lots of crafting time. I discovered scrapbooking about four years ago in America. Our eldest daughter lives in Texas, USA and with so many gorgeous scrapbooking shops locally the temptations are very great when I visit her!! I started making cards about 15 months ago and have found I really love creating them. I also knit and do cross-stitch.

I am lucky enough to have my own small craft room that is full to overflowing with stash!! Paper and cardstock-wise I have enough to keep me going for years to come, but of course that doesn’t mean I don’t need more!! I love my Cricut, Cuttlebug and rubber-stamping (I believe that you can never have too many stamps!)

Apart from crafting I enjoy walking on Dartmoor and around the SW coast path (though the weather has been too inclement for that recently!) and this is the year when I am determined to learn not to keep falling off my bicycle! They say practice makes perfect!

Introducing Little Old Me !

Hello all you lovely creative crafters. My name is Karen and I have been picked to design for this wonderful blog (how delighted am I).

I live on the Dorset Wiltshire border with my Hubby and Yorkshire Terrier (Barney). I love walking, card making, scrap booking, cricuting, knitting, cross stitching, reading, cookery etc, so bit of a home girl. I work full time at our business so my spare time is pretty busy.

I have been making cards for quite a few years now, gradually finding my own style but often try new things (some I like some I don't). I love scrap booking and have done numerous albums for family and friends - the joy of seeing the face of the recipient is just amazing.

I also love to see what everybody else makes - there is so much talent out there and I am continually amazed at the quality, beauty and uniqueness of the work that I see when blog hopping. Blogging is such a great way to meet nice people with the same interests and has made the world a much smaller place.

So that's me, I hope you will enjoy looking at my work and I look forward to seeing yours.

With very best wishes

Karen x
